Designed to teach sound wildland fire observations and origin scene protection, provide knowledge and skills to design, set-up, operate, troubleshoot, and shut down portable water delivery systems. Course also covers aircraft types, capabilities, aviation management and safety for flying in and working with agency aircraft, tactical, and logistical uses of aircraft, and requirements for helicopter takeoff and landing areas. Covers materials from FI-110, S-211, S-270. Four lecture.
